He was my North, my South, my East and West,
My working week and my Sunday rest,
My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song;
I thought that love would last forever: I was wrong.

- W.H. Auden

I think....

love is more like a ... son or a daughter, rather than a solid wall.

you nurture your kid..
love him and dote on him..
you care for her and will die for her..
there's nothing that's more important..
there's nothing that's bigger or more beautiful..
and ofcourse he costs a lot !!
when she learns to walk.. you're flying..
his smile actually makes you dizzy. It's a high you cannot get anywhere else..

buh when she turns a teenager.. get your shields out..
there's gonna be fire and embers and hail and storms..
he's YOUR kid, but you're gonna wish you were a spectator..
she's gonna blame YOU for bringing her into this world..and you'll more or less be like "what the f*&(@?"..

and so goes life..

it's not easy bringing up a kid.
it's not even friggin FUN all the time if you ACTUALLY look at the whole damn thing objectively.

then why do people do it ?

why do we love? :)
